What changed

The statutory inspection dashboard now does more than show whether the latest inspection report is okay. It also reflects the live status of any defects raised from those reports.

This means the dashboard gives you a real picture of where things stand, not just where they stood at the time of inspection.

How the color logic works

We use two distinct shades of green, on purpose:

The distinction matters. A dark green status tells a different story than a light green one: it means something was wrong, someone acted on it, and it's resolved. That's a stronger signal.

Red or amber statuses indicate open defects that still need attention.

What you should do now

If your dashboard isn't near all-green, it's likely because defects exist that have been resolved in practice but haven't been marked as closed out in the system.

Go through your open defects and close out the ones that have been addressed. Each one you close will flip the corresponding equipment to dark green on the dashboard, giving you an accurate and audit-ready picture of your statutory inspection status.

Action: Review your open defects and close out any that have been resolved. The goal: a dashboard that's as green as your actual compliance status.
